Retiring after 36 years in the Telecommunications industry, I wanted to start a business where my passion for helping others could continue. After much thought and research, I decided to become a Notary Public and Notary Signing Agent. I joined the National Notary Association (NNA) and completed their Maryland State Notary Education and Exam. After completing the course and exam, I obtained my MD Notary Public commission and JSM Notary Services LLC was born. JSM Notary Services LLC is a Veteran and Minority owned business.

To become a Loan Signing Agent in MD, MD requires a Loan Signing Agent to be licensed as a Title Insurance Producer. I joined the Maryland Land Title Association (MLTA) as an Individual Title Insurance Producer Independent Contractor (TIPIC) and took their Title Insurance Producer course and exam. Not long after, I obtained my MD Title Insurance Producer License. After obtaining my Title Insurance Producer License, I completed NNA's Notary Signing Agent course. Copy of Maryland Title Insurance License can be provided upon request, for those entities seeking loan signing services.
